Smoky Eyes For Spring

The smoky eye trend is still going strong, but now it’s fresh and bright for spring.

Here in the office we are in love with this look! One day four of us all came to work rocking it. You can refer to the Quick Smoky Eye Technique for a basic how-to (we all used some variation of this). We have included pictures and listed the products we used below. Have fun, we did!

Lovely Lilac:

Gorgeous Green:

  • Apply three coats of PureLash Lash Extender & Conditioner to lashes.
  • Apply three coats of Black Ice Longest Lash Thickening and Lengthening Mascara to lashes.
  • Apply a tiny bit of Petal Lid Primer over the whole lid.
  • Apply Black/Brown Eye Pencil in a thick line across the upper lash line and under the lower lashes.
  • Apply Green Silk Eye Gloss to the outer two-thirds of the upper lid with the Crease Brush.
  • Apply Cut Grass from Artists’ Eyes II to the inner third of the upper lid with the Crease Brush.
  • Using the Crease brush again, blend the two shades together well.
  • Highlight the inner corner of the eye and the brow bone with Oyster PurePressed Eye Shadow with the Crease Brush.
  • Using the Mini-Dome Brush, apply Cut Grass from Artists’ Eyes II to highlight everywhere you placed the Eye Pencil.
  • Apply one last coat of Black Ice Longest Lash Thickening and Lengthening Mascara.

Bold Blue:

  • Use the white end of the White/Pink Highlighter Pencil as a base on the whole eye lid and under the lower lash line, including the inner and outer corners.
  • Thickly line the upper lash line with Black/Grey Eye Pencil. Blend well. Also line the inner rim (water line).
  • Using the Deluxe Shader Brush, press the teal shade from Azure PurePressed Eye Shadow Triple on the outer two-thirds of the lid.
  • Use the pale blue from the Bling PurePressed Eye Shadow Kit on the inner third of the lid, around the inner corner of the eye, and under the inner third of the lower lashes.
  • Use the Detail Brush to line the outer two-thirds of the upper and lower lash lines with the blue shade from Jewel Box Cream To Powder Eyeliner.
  • Finish with several coats of PureLash Lash Extender & Conditioner and Longest Lash Thickening and Lengthening Mascara in Black Ice.

Pink Smoke:

  • Cover entire lid from lash line to brow with Peach Silk Eye Gloss using the Sculpting Brush.
  • Once the Eye Gloss dries, cover the same area with the lightest shade in Think Pink PurePressed Eye Shadow Triple using the Deluxe Shader Brush.
  • Using the Angle Liner/Brow Brush misted with D20 Hydration Spray and dipped in Rose Gold 24-Karat Gold Dust, line from middle to beyond the outside of upper and lower lash lines in a rocking motion, creating a wing. Blend upward while damp.
  • Using the Deluxe Shader Brush, lightly dust entire lid with Rose Gold.
  • Dot the inner corner of the eye lid with the white end of the White/Pink Highlighter Pencil.
  • Finish with Longest Lash Thickening and Lengthening Mascara in Ripe Plum.

  1. Beautiful colors I really love your make-up.It lite on you face you don’t even know you have it on.Your face looks great and the make-up stays on your face.Thank you for your make-up line. Tina Simmons

  2. New use for the Magic Mitt. Not only is it the best makeup remover it also removes hair color. Yep just use warm water and the hair color is gone. The test was with Goldwell systems color remover and the magic mitt. The Goldwell color remover did nothing to remove the color. While doing a color match and removing the clients makeup the Magic Mitt took the make up along with the hair color from the clients forehead. WOW! Now I will have no need to purchase a so called color remover product and just use the Magic Mitt. I also did a second test with a black hair color stain on the cheek of a client and the Magic Mitt did the removal as if it were makeup. The Magic hair color remover Mitt is now at all of my stylist stations. Thanks Jane  Posted @ Thursday, July 08, 2010 8:34 PM

  3. Hi! I realize that this blog was posted a year ago, but I really like the Lovely Lilac look. I haven’t been able to find the 24K Gold Dust in Lilac. Is this product still available?

  4. Hi Nina,  Sadly, Lilac 24K is no longer with us 🙁   Carleen (whose eyes you see up there) suggests the medium shade in Cloud Nine, with Silver 24K Gold Dust on top.  I hope this helps!

  6. Air jordan retro is a great general, form-fitting sneaker lace, the building actually extends under the foot that gives the wearer feel very block around the entire foot, the Air Jordan 2011 ranks very high in the form, aesthetics and performance. That said, there is much to complain about. Michael Jordan’s legacy is alive with the launch of the new jordan shoes every year and re-releasing retro Air Jordan. Air Jordan shoes are retro remake of the classic Air Jordan is in the colors Mike wore on, or slightly modified to match with current trends. Mark new jordan reported several “hybrid” Jordan shoes that make the individual components of various wholesale Jordans.
