Graphic Designer - Great Barrington, MA

The Graphic Designer is a talented and motivated designer with a strong print and digital background who can provide the Art Director with design support for all brand projects. This position will work on image retouching, as well as print and digital designs to support the creative team.

 

They must be capable of taking direction and executing against it while clearly communicating any challenges he/she anticipates. They are responsible for creating engaging creative and facilitating adjustments and layout revisions. They ensure timely delivery of work and manage numerous projects simultaneously. The Graphic Designer will work closely with the Art Director, designers as well as the marketing team, developers, and video editors.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • - Image retouching
  • - Design adjustments and layout changes
  • - Take direction from the Art Director
  • - Provide final files for print and web, knowledge of optimal format to use based on the particular application.

Global Educator

Global Educators work hand in hand with Territory Managers, Regional Directors and our Executive Management Team to meet the ever-evolving needs of our employees, partners and consumers alike. Responsible for knowing every aspect of jane iredale THE SKINCARE MAKEUP, they must be able to simplify and demystify these aspects without diluting our brand message. As public figures within the company who travel to all reaches of the world, GEs must think of themselves as walking representations of Iredale Cosmetics in everything they do. Key Responsibilities

 

EDUCATION:

  • Public Speaking – seminar format speaking with and without the use of a visual aid to teach our required curriculums. The ability to memorize and accurately recite brand concepts and specific product / ingredient information is crucial. One of the most important elements of the job is our ability to communicate our brand story with passion and clarity.  
  • Demonstrations – clear and simple product applications using the required brushes to support the curriculum at hand during classes, in partner locations on shoots and at tradeshows.
  • Educational Materials – Help develop all educational material that corresponds with classes, trainings, training manuals, webinars, sales support material and promotions.
  • Curriculum– Write and update curriculums for Iredale seminars, webinars and eLearning.
  • National Accounts – Update curriculum and conduct in house trainings and events for National Accounts per their education needs.
  • Tradeshows – Work closely with Tradeshow Manager in developing educational classes and in-booth demonstrations as well as attending and supporting trade shows.
  • Staying Current– Maintain a thorough and current understanding of products and services, policies and procedures. Always know new product key ingredients, features and benefits.

OFFICE:

  • Reports –Provide regular, timely, and meaningful market feedback and standard reporting to the Director of Education regarding all classes, partner training, and events.
  • Expenses –Works within budgeted expenses and submits regular expense reports in a timely manner.
  • Conference Calls –Participates in monthly calls with the Education team and Director of Education.

SALES:

  • Events –Participate in makeup application events in partner locations to sell through specified products.
  • Territory Manager Field Support – Assist the Business Consultants in the field as sale support to help grow existing business and or gain new business.

 

NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Educator in the makeup, skincare, haircare, or pharmaceutical/medical industries. Cosmetology or Esthetics license or BA/BS recommended. Make-up artistry skills are required.  

 

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Speaking –Strong public speaking skills. Must be comfortable on stage and be able to command an audience and control the room.

Versatility –Must be able to interface with a wide range of staff and fill a variety of roles.

Territory Manager - San Jose, CA

Territory Manager –This position will coverSan Francisco, South Bay Area, and Fresno.

Successful candidate should be located in San Jose, CA.  

 

The Territory Manager is responsible to execute and achieve the sales, marketing, education and other company plans within an assigned territory to achieve sales and market development objectives as established each year by the company.

 

Essential Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

- Work closely with Regional Director (RD) to develop annual sales strategies and business plans for assigned territory. Maintains and grows existing accounts through regular planned sales cycles and strategic account visits, telephone calls, webinars and events demonstrating effective communication and follow through.

- Develops and maintains optimal coverage using the most effective routing plan; adjusted as needed to reflect changes in the customer structure within the territory. - Targets, prospects, and opens new accounts incorporating the IC Business Planner, conforming to IC’s brand image and customer profile guidelines and standards. Conducts four account meetings per day and four prospect/cold calls per day (unless otherwise specified by RD) and follows-up on all leads (follow-up on home office leads is within a 24-hour period of receiving the lead).

- Works closely with RD and Educators to develop and coordinate successful JI University class schedule and local educational/event calendar. - Participates in and supports all sales, marketing and educational programs and objectives set forth by IC (e.g., new account campaigns, new product launches, promotions, educational classes, trade shows, state board visits, Regional meetings, National Sales Meetings, etc.).

- Provides regular, timely and meaningful market feedback and standard reporting to RD on sales activities, account visits, current business conditions, trends and competitive information as well as thorough documentation on account and lead contacts via the CRM and line management reporting procedures and standard forms.

 

Education and Experience:

  • High school degree required. AA or BA degree preferred.
  • Minimum of two years outside sales experience, preferably in the beauty industry or consumer goods required.
  • Prior experience with prospecting/cold-calling and opening new business a plus.
  • Experience with servicing salons, spas, physician’s offices, retail merchants and the small business base preferred.
  • Licensed esthetician/makeup artist a plus.

Clean Beauty Artist

The Clean Beauty Artist (CBA) is responsible to work closely with the Partner Development Coordinator, Territory Manager and Regional Director in assisting with makeup artistry, inventory review, merchandising, floor support, events, staff events and retail training. The successful candidate will report to the Director of Artistry and Education.

 

Makeup Artistry:

Must possess a minimum of intermediate makeup artistry skills and be comfortable applying makeup to consumers and partners. Must have a key understanding of the jane iredalebrand and products to feel at ease explaining and discussing key ingredients as well as the features and benefits.

 

Support:

The CBA will support scheduled events, floor support and training when needed by a National Account or a partner location. These events will be scheduled by the PDC or TM.

 

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma required, AA or BA preferred.

2 years of Makeup Artistry experience in a retail environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • - Sell through of retail inventory, promotional items, and skincare supplements via floor support, events and consumer interaction and education when needed.
  • - Inventory review and order assistance.
  • - Merchandising assistance and display maintenance.
  • - Participation in educational offerings as well as tradeshows when needed.
