thanksgiving dinner makeup look

Delicious Makeup Look:

  1. Apply the gold color of Pecan/Chocolate to your eyelid using the Deluxe Shader brush.
  2. Apply the orangey shade to your crease using the Crease brush.
  3. Then using the Eye Shader brush, apply the chocolate color on the outer corner of your eye. Blend slightly into your crease. The Eye Shader brush is denser than the Crease brush so this will go on darker than the chocolate in your crease giving the illusion that you are using 4 colors.
  4. Line your top and bottom lash line using the Dark Topaz Mystikol.
  5. Use the highlighter end of your Mystikol to highlight your brow bone.
  6. Finish your eyes with PureLash Lash Extender and Conditioner and Espresso or Black Ice Longest Lash Thickening and Lengthening Mascara.
  7. Apply Mocha PurePressed Blush to your cheeks using the Dome brush.
  8. Apply Mimosa PureGloss Lip Gloss to your lips.

That’s it! A lovely look in less than 10 steps that will get you away from the mirror and with your loved ones in no time.

It always ends up with a bunch of us crying and hugging but those are priceless moments that are truly cherished to our family. (Looking FAB while doing it helps too, and I LOVE your makeup!!) It’s not about throwing an over-the-top feast or worrying about the woes of the world; it’s going to be a day of honest reflection for what we have to be thankful for, and a day of giving what we can, even if it’s only our time and affection to those we have.

I wind up sacrificing time with my incredible fiance just to work, and our schedules really don’t mesh well at all.     Thanksgiving is one of the only times that we’re able to really sit down and enjoy each other’s company and be surrounded by his family who has become the family that I have never had.

I come from a small family that time has made even smaller, and since meeting my husband, our family needs a large table again. I am incredibly thankful for having to cook for 10 instead of 4.  As a side note, I am really touched by the women who were brave enough to share their struggles and recovery stories in these comments. Thank you for sharing, you are truly an inspiration.

  61. I am so thankful to be able to spend Thanksgiving with friends and family. It starts Thanksgiving morning with a relaxing brunch. Then, an early dinner and movie with friends. That night will be topped off with my love traveling 600 miles to spend the remainder of the week with me.. I am so blessed!!! ~Marissa Staten, Aesthetician Knoxville, TN

  62. This and every Thanksgiving, I look forward to a sense of reconnection with family and roots .We share stories and laughter in the present and memories of those no longer with us are rekindled as we prepare inherited recipes and repeat rituals of giving thanks and sharing love unique to our family. Truly a warm holiday in a cold season!

  63. Life. It is the greatist gift of all. Without it we would not be able to enjoy all that has been given to us. What an opportunity we have to appreciate, love, learn and grow from one another. What we absorb from those that pass in and out of our lives is reflected how we travel our own individual paths & the destination that we reach at the end. I feel very blessed to have friends and family that have allowed me to make mistakes, beg for forgiveness when I need to, and constantly keep growing into the person, mother and wife that I am and will one day become.

  64. I am looking forward to family and great friends. We lost a sibling on Saturday so the togetherness and rememberance that Thanksgiving is about will be all the more special.

I am very careful with products I put on my skin, especially after my diagnosis. Thank you for making available such a wonderful product line.

  66. We have three sons and daughters-in-law and our 2 youngest will be spending Thanksgiving with their in laws, so we’ll be with our oldest and our 4 grandchildren! Plus my husbands mom and dad and one of his 2 sisters. It’ll be a snowy but warm inside day with lots of visiting, listening and sharing life stories. We are so very thankful for all the blessings in our lives.

  67. I’ve been mostly home-bound with disabilities for the past 12 years which made travel an absolute misery. This year our daughter, after 8 years in the Navy, bought her first home and she is hosting a holiday dinner for the first time. And it seems as though my body is going to cooperate so I can travel 2 1/2 hours to her home!  Also, she wears Jane Iredale cosmetics and is going to help me select products/colors so I can make the change from my current cosmetic line!  I pray that blessings will abound for everyone this Thanksgiving!  Posted @ Tuesday, November 22, 2011 10:50 AM
