A Simple Makeup Look fit for any Girl Boss

Written by Jane Iredale Jane Iredale founder of jane iredale clean makeup brand "Quick, easy and stay all day" is my mantra. First, I apply Dream Tint with my fingers. It also doubles as a moisturizer so that eliminates one step. Then, I apply a layer of PurePressed Base for a bit more coverage and sun protection. So far two products have taken the place of six - moisturizer, tinted coverage, sun protection, concealer, more coverage and finishing powder. I like that. A dab of PurePressed Blush and if I’m doing something important I’ll do some simple shading under my cheekbones and around my chin. I take a bit more time with my brows because they’re so important. I love the Retractable Brow Pencil because I just flip it over and the spoolie is on the end. No hunting for the brush. Next is Smooth Affair for Eyes applied with my finger, and then, my must-have liner, Mystikol. This also doubles as my shadow. I apply lash conditioner and mascara, and that’s it, except for deciding whether to wear Lip Fixation and Forever Red because they both stay all day. But whichever one it is, I always put a dab of Iced Mocha gloss on top. It's my go-to color and the one I carry in my bag— actually it's the only makeup I carry in my bag. It works with any color I’m wearing and feels and tastes great.

Emma’s love for all things beauty started at 14 years old when she was finally allowed to wear makeup. In 2015, after years of doing makeup for proms, weddings and special events, Emma began working as the Marketing Intern at jane iredale. During her internship, she learned that makeup could feel lightweight, smell beautiful and actually leave your skin looking better than it did before you put it on. After graduating from college in 2017, Emma started working full-time for jane iredale. She has learned so much about clean beauty and is excited to share it all with you on The Good Glow Blog.
