DIY Detox Tea for Health Skin and Body

ginger lemon tea detox Achieving healthy skin is as much about what you put in your body as it is about what you put on it. That’s why we always encourage you to “feed your skin.” One piece of advice anyone with a clear, glowing complexion will give you is to drink plenty of water. We know water is not a magic skin care remedy, but it does benefit the overall health of your body and organs, including your skin. We also know, that one of the main reasons many of our friends don’t drink water regularly is that it’s bland. Trust us, we’ve all been there!

The good thing is, you can make water taste better without much work. The simplest way to add flavor to you H2O is by creating fruit infused water. Just chop up your favorite herbs and fruits, add them to your water bottle and go. Instant spa water! Some of our favorite combinations are:

  • Strawberry, Lime, and Cucumber
  • Raspberry and Lemon
  • Blueberry and Orange
  • Watermelon and Basil
  • Pineapple and Mint

If you want to make the flavor even more potent, may we suggest this delicious detox tea recipe. We’re calling it a tea because you steep the ingredients, but no tea leaves are required for this refreshing infusion. Make it in bulk so you can sip all day!
