Makeup Artist Gallery

Cheryl Williams-Barnes is an exceptional motivational speaker, image consultant and celebrity Makeup Artist. Over the past fifteen years she has provided services for a host of motion pictures and television specials as a Makeup Artist and began her career on the Queen Latifah show in NYC, after leaving the corporate cosmetic world. As a guest, key Makeup Artist she was privileged to work with many celebrities, and performed the first televised "makeover" on the show. These makeover segments, which featured the transformation of average women and men, led to the whole "makeover" craze. The Queen Latifah show received the attention of WABC, who quickly scooped her up after the The Queen Latifah show ended. At ABC, she began working on All My Children and acquired a permanent position with One Life to Live, where she was nominated twice for an Emmy. She was part of the initial weekend team at Good Morning America where high-definition television was first introduced to the network industry. Currently, she continues to work for the weekday show.

Because of her status as the first black woman to receive an Emmy nomination in makeup for a daytime series, she was awarded the Ruby M. Bailey “Outstanding Woman of the World” award in 2003 by the international Miss Black World Pageant.

Cheryl’s celebrity clients include, Holly Robinson Peete, P. Diddy, Anita Baker, Carly Simon, Evander Holyfield, Ron Howard, Blythe Danner and Jamie Lee Curtis.
