An essential part of well-applied makeup is the proper tools; brushes
comprise the largest part of those tools. Good brushes ensure that the
desired application is achieved effectively and efficiently. We have designed
our brushes specifically for our makeup in order to produce the best effect
from our micronized mineral powders.
The natural hair used in our brushes is obtained from living animals.
You should be aware that no animal is killed to make brushes. The hair
is a secondary item generally obtained from combing or brushing. The hair
then undergoes several chemical-cleansing processes so that it is sterile
enough to be used on the skin.
Our synthetic brushes are made from Toray, Tylon and Taklon (nylon).
These are designed to be used with cream-based products. Nylon prevents
the product from sticking to the fibers, allowing for easy transference
and blending. Nylon is also durable and easy to clean.
